I am grateful to live in a sweet community at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia with my dogs and the amazing wildlife that calls this area home. I love the work I am able to do with my clients and as I tell them, I heal right along with you as you heal.
Before I became a licensed clinical social worker, I founded a website/media nonprofit for people in recovery from addictions, was a documentary filmmaker (where I honed my skills as an interviewer), and served on various boards as well as volunteered for numerous nonprofit agencies. I have always wanted to heal wounds in people. I grew to understand that I can’t do the actual healing for anyone…I can instead be honored and humbled to nurture others’ healing from the inside out.
